Post here please your help request regarding Garmin

Hi
I have downloaded the following Image file /unlocked : City Nav Aus /NZ
My garmin device is a10 from Australia
How do I install this file on phone
I have limited experience with computer matters
Any help or directions are most welcome .

please i want to convert map extension .fbl to extension .img

Igo maps (.fnl) are TeleAtlas maps, Garmin maps (.img) are Navteq maps
Navteq maps are better, i cant see any advangage in converting them, even because probably is not possible, usually users ask to convert Garmin maps to other formats

Hello catymag, trumpsta here. I am hoping this is correct place to ask for your assistance. I am having problems with Garmin on my LG Incite. Followed the "Garmin xt on ppc" instructions thouroughly step by step. got through to the part "get some beer" successfully. Downloaded,extracted and copied the city nav. 2011.31 maps (all 7) to my sd. The garmin icon on my device has dissapeared and when I open it from the card it goes to the garmin screen with the 4 options, trial offer/enter product key/find bluetooth device. Hoping you can help me understand where I went wrong.

probably you created an unlock code for your software with txt extension, read better the tutorial

Need help with my Garmin GPSMAP 62s, have maps Worldwide DEM basemap NR and Birdseye but do not think they are good then.
So which map is best for it over the forests and mountains, living in Norway when??

thanks for the prompt response. I thought of that and was sure to save it as .unl, all file types. any other thoughts?

May be the code is not the right one. If the soft isnt unlocked there is something wrong in your SW.UNL , no other options

Accidentally erased the built in worldwide basemap from a GPSMAP 620.
Have a backup file named gmapbltn.img (211 Mb) that could be the basemap, but didn't work when copyed to the unit.
Need help to re-install the worldwide basemap.
