If I got the information right, these are the file size for gmapprom and gmapdem. Yours may be smaller because it does not include Canada (?)...

Alaska was admitted to the Union as the 49th state. The "Lower-49" refers to the order of admission. Hawaii is the 50th state, which obviously is not part of the Lower-49...
"Lower" in the case of Lower-49 has nothing to do with geography or latitude.

you have a limit of 2gb per map in phones
install Mapsource and select a smaller region -
you'll find how to install Garmin in symbian phones and Mapsource in tutorials
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Have another question: I can get the rar parts except for Part3 - the download hangs at about 30MB. Have tried it 15 times and now giving up! Can anyone please help me get this part: City Navigator North America NT 2011.30.gmap.part3.rar (300 MB)

Alright, I'm new to these "free" map and have no idea what to do with them. My goal is to update my Garmin 1350 2011.10 NA map with these. If someone can post a link on how to it'll be much appreciated.
