You can use both name but cannot use the same map and you can use 2 different maps by the name gmapprom.img and gmapsupp.img)

It depends on device. In newer devices ,you can use anyname.img, in previous devices look at
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
you can find different threads links about IMGs renaming

I've installed TSM V11 on my Garmin Mobile XT, Kenwood Garmin and into MapSource. What I can see until now is that the upper-south of Thailand is so much more detailed compared with both V10 and V10.1.

The search functions work on the three devices correctly. Unlike V10.1 which search functions didn't work correctly on the Kenwood Garmin.

Thanks for uploading especially as TSM V11 was introduced on the 11th November 2010 only.

Has anyone tried the JCV file from this thread with Garmin 13XX or 14XX?

I heard that this time there are more than one version of JCV eg Garmin 205W needs to use JCV that created for this model and if you use Garmin 13XX or 14XX then you need to use another version of JCV and the file size is different.

    Thai jcv is locked.
There are many jcv versions for specific model in Thailand because different of screen and unit ability ., Like JCV for 37xx in EU map.

If you have unit that can display Thai jcv., Which jcv version is not matter.
( ie Sg 765 v2.50 can use any of Thai jcv versions and bigger size is better.!! )

For 14xx US can not use Thai jcv.
You must try to convert to Sg/My OS.
