Thread: Garmin NUVI 3760T and 3790T

in new garmin unit like nuvi 3790, we need to create a folder and name it as "Map" and put all the map inside it. no need to put name as gmapsupp.img just rename it as u like xxxx.img. this method can be use either u use memory card just create the folder name it as "Map".

where to put the mp3 file need to create a folder or not.

if we have the jcv file like the old garmin cn 2010.20 where to put in the memory card or just put it in garmin\.system\jcv

Location for MP3 is ....." Nuvi\MP3\ " and you can create mp3 folder.
For JCV files ... I put in .system\jcv.
But multiples maps or jcv files can reduce map drawing performance ., so I try to use only one map and jcv.:-)

Nuvi 3760 have a little problem: I install 5 country maps on SD card and when I deselec one of them all is deselecting automated.
so I have installed Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary when I deselect Turkey for example all 5 is deselecting. On older models when I deselect one map the others stays ON.
Also for multiple maps on SD card is not working gmapsupp1 or 2 only gmasupp.In the internal memory I have gmapprom, gmapbma ang gmaptz.
Gmapprom is CNE 2011.3 and the all internal memory is full. I try diffrent tipe of suplemental maps on sd card but none is working.

How I can resolve the problem of map selection and the other stay active.

So I must put the maps in SD car this: S:garmin\map\xxxxx.img?
I do not use the basic s:\garmin\xxxx.img ?
The maps was installen on sd card with mapinstall and all 5 was send on sd card together.
I honestly do not know how to use all the software like Gmaptool and others.
