Thread: GARMIN City Navigator Middle East NT 2010.20 IMG& Mapsource

I have vista hcx. Should I unlock it or can I directly use it?
What is the map ID of this city navigator? Thanks

Okay, I am a bit confused. To get the Mapsource install, do I have to download the IMG AND the mapsource version? I un-rar'ed the mapsource but all I get is an .exe file that, when run, wants to install with my GPS connected and asks for a product key, but not apparently what the KG provides. So is the "img directory" referenced in the original post installed by the mapsource installer or in the IMG download?

The MapSource installation would be enough if you want to have the map on a PC and be able to build your own IMG with selected map tiles from the installed MapSource maps.
You should use the INDEX and search functionality to find how to install a MapSource map.

to unlock garmin mapsource map
unrar middle east city nav nt 2010.20 mapsource installer file(it's a compressed file)
in the img directory execute cnment2010update_enu and install it
From the menu: Utilities/Manage map products->unlock regions->add->then enter id from Jet Mouse KG in first field and name of the map in second field.
use this KG
