Unlocked IMG file can be used directly with just copying the file to the Garmin directory. Rename to what's appropriate (gmapprom.img, gmapprom1.img, gmapsupp.img, gmapsup2.img) if you want more than one map in the unit or on the memory card. Make sure you don't overwrite anything you want to keep.
If two maps are covering the same area you will see the map with the highest priority value. One can use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to examine IMG files.

Hello!

Newbie here. I noticed there is a way to download maps to cell phones and use them to run the navigation programs. Is there a way to do the same thing with a US spec iPhone 3Gsi? I bought an unlocked one hoping to be able use in Korea but to only find out that the only phone that will work here is the one you buy in country. But since I have the GPS capability, could I be able to do the same thing with the right app and will it work with out a cell phone service?

sorry no Garmin on Iphone till now for Korea
you can find TomTom , but not sure you can find a Korea map, the same for Sygic Aura, Navigon or Ndrive, make a search in other GPS systems section.

Hey all.
can anyone walk me through this. I just got my Garmin and have no idea what i'm doing. Do i need to get all these different winrar files or just a couple of them? And where might i find a key gen?
