    Hi Catymag,

I am using Garmin Asus M20 mobile phone in india with default preloaded map. Now, just gone through your post and I found what I am looking for. I am not able to run map on my cell phone. What i had does is given below step by step.

    1. I had download file gmapsupp unlocked jfsdpo.img.
    2. then i had download Garmin_kgen_1.5_Fix.rar.
    3. connect my cell phone in mass storage mode.
    4. i had found 3 files (gmapprom.img, gmapprom.unl & gmapprom.gma under system folder) under my storage which is inbuilt with mobile phone, there is no scope for using memory card.
    5. I had copy gmapsupp.img to system folder on phone storage.
    6. I had rename 3 files previously was there like (gmapprom.img to ren_gmapprom.img, gmapprom.unl to gmapprom.unl & gmapprom.gma to ren_gmapprom.gma)
    7. I started Garmin Keygen and entered my device id and select garmin mobile XT and clicked on generate then i select custom mapset under select map product then i had enter 1445 and click generate.
    8. Now, Please let me know that which code i have to use like 1st generated or 2nd generated?
    9. i had picked up 1st generated code and made gmapsupp.unl file as per instruction given by you.

Now, Condition is that I am not able to see any map on my device. Please help me resolve it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    DK

    gmapprom.img, gmapprom.unl & gmapprom.gma are respectively
your preloaded map, your preloaded map unlock file, your preloaded map new garmin policy map validation file
If you want to replace your preloaded map, backup them all on your pc and then replace the old gmapprom.img with the new gmapprom.img, delete the 2 other files- To make the new gmapprom.img visible on your phone, before copying it run on it this unlocker

remember it will work renaming the img to gmapsupp.img, but before copying the unlocked one in your asus remame it again as gmapprom.img- You wont need for it neither an unl file nor a gma file-

    1. The map is already UNLOCKED with an unlocker as seen by the name "gmapsupp unlocked jfsdpo.img". No need to use JetMouse KG in that case.
I've seen some really crappy versions of this map then someone tried to unlock it. They put some garbage files into the map archive as shown by GMapTool:

You can enable your original maps if you rename the files back to "gmapprom.img", "gmapprom.unl" & "gmapprom.gma".
The file you downloaded is already unlocked and could be copied as "gmapsupp.img" to your map directory on your M20.
If your "gmapprom.img" map covers the same area as the "gmapsupp.img" map you should just have one enabled and the other one disabled.

The first code field in the JM KG is only for Gamin Mobile XT or Garmin Mobile XT and the "SW.UNL" file. It's not needed when you have a Garmin-Asus M20.
The second field is for the "gmapsupp.unl" (or more generic like "{same_as_map_file}.unl").

    @bahama99

There's a Garmin compatible MMI v5.0 but no one has released a copy to the forum scene yet.

The only MMI v5.0 here for the moment is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Seems to be trouble to install it on a Windows Mobile as indicated by comments in that thread. Not good for Garmin map usage anyway.

    @ Catymag & @Ballebar

You mean to say that i just copy gmapsupp unlocked jfsdpo.img to my device and just rename it to gmapsupp.img. is it?

So, if i do that then there are four file now on my device.
    1. gmapprom.img
    2. gmapprom.unl
    3. gmapprom.gma
    4. gmapsupp.img

So, How can i sure about which map is using by my device. gmapprom.img or gmapsupp.img or how can i use latest map.

    Regards,
    DK
