Thanks a lot. I am studying how to use
@Glomen
The D1281060A.JCV was delivered in the RMU 006-D0323-12 EU 2011_20 for nvi 37xx and was later replaced there by D2504010A.JCV.
Details about errors came from another forum. I can't confirm if that's correct or not.
It might be that Garmin first delivered D1281060A.JCV for nvi 37xx and just made a later enhanced D2504010A.JCV version just for the nvi 37xx series.
Considering JCV files for 2011.20, in your opinion, which of the two should I install on a 1490T ? I put D2504010A.JCV but did not have a chance to use it on the road yet. Is there a way to check if it will work (apart from waiting for the first pop up on the road)?
A second question: I understand that no UNL file is needed for JCV, I have a file D1281020A.sum in JCV folder. Do I need to erase it ?

Guess I have a question you guys might know the answer to : I now have this GMAPPROM.IMG file that I want to write to an 2gb SD card (sandisk) to update my Kenwood bx8220 with. The image size is 1.84 gb but it says it needs an additional 14 mb space, so the 2GB card seems to be too small.. Am I doing something wrong? Does the 2gb card need some type of special formatting in order to let the image fit?
Thanks for your time!
