Thread: Garmin China City Navigator NT ENG 2010.21 with Offsets Corrected

Any JCV available for this version ?

The u115 links were useless as I could not understand the Chinese instructions & clicking the various icons led nowhere.
Clicking on green error gives an error dialog - some java/applet error.
Neither does going through Google translation helps.
The FDM recommended does nothing for the downloads either.

Finally downloaded it via the MegaUpload links with JDownLoader.

Will be visiting Shanghai starting Sep 28.
Hoping to check this out on my nuvi 370 or 1250.
Any limitations with the 370 as I do not always have access to the 1250.

Using it on my borrowed 1250 and it works fine generally.

Note:
Shanghai has loads of new roads that are not in the map, especially around the expo vicinity.

Other than that, the map is great!
Even helped me find food near the expo exits.
As a navigation guide, it gets you there but not the fastest way (by quite a bit).

I want to thanks the people that posted this map. It simply works perfect on my Garmin1350.

As for the new roads, at the rate the Chinese are building their roads you would need a new update every 15 days.

This map will get you on the target place without any problems, I tried it out in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou.

So i just installed the map on my nuvi275t and i get the offset. my previous china map needed the additional bin file to fix the offset but my understanding is that this map has the offset correction built in. I have tried with and without the additional bin file but same results every time.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?



OK, my bad, ignore my last post, the map is not offset, the problem is that now all my previous tracks and waypoints are offset :p
I had previously been using China NT 7.5 with the 006B082300.bin file to correct the offset. So now switching to using China NT 2010.21 without the additional bin file makes all of my saved places, waypoint, tracks etc offset.

Any idea how to fix this?

I guess I could edit all my saved places and just give up my tracks but in future is this offset problem always going to be handled this way or down the line am I going to run into this problem again?

Wich software is better for this map ?

I successfully use Gmaptool and cGPSmapper to convert gmapsupp.img to be use with Mapsource.
However it shows status=Locked and cannot be accessed.
How do I go about unlocking it ?

The 7.5 version on a 60csx has an offset when compared to google earth. This version with offsets removed matches the values in google earth.
