First we should know if your device supports NT maps and frankly I donnow it

If yes, download an unlocked IMG rename it gmapsupp.img and put it in an sd card in a folder named Garmin-
that's all
I dont think your device can support additional features

You can install this map in mapsource in two ways :
downloading the gmap folder and placing it in the right folder(follow instructions in the post) light installation
or download the full mapsource installation and unlock it with jetmouse kg

in both cases but you must have a newer Mapsource version -
to unlock ,in the second case , your mapsource must be patched

CN Europe NT, version 2008 is written on the SD-Card, which is in device.

Which version should I download:

CNEUNT 2011.10 unlocked IMG

or City Navigator Europe NT 2011.10.gmap (booth from the first post here on the first side)?

You told me that I have to put the downloaded file into a SD-Card in a folder named Garmin.

So, I went now to my car and I pulled the original (genuine) SD-card from the KNA-G520. On this SD-Card are TWO folder (see picture).

Is it correct, if I only have one file into Garmin folder? Do I not need the folder named gmapsupp.unl??
Will that work also without the gmapsuppl.unl?

Sorry because of askinkg, but I don't want do do something wrong.

that gmapsupp.img in the screen is your original one, if it covers the same region, backup it on your pc with its gmapsupp,unl, then delete it from your Kenwood and replace the gmapsupp.img you downloaded now, if you downloaded the unlocked img you wont need an gmapsupp.unl

the right file to download is CNEUNT 2011.10 unlocked IMG

if it's not the same region ,rename the new one gmapsup2.img and copy it in the same directory of the old one

How can I delete it from my Kenwood?? My maps ar on a SD-card.

I have only one chance to backup my old maps, and that is to keep the old SD-card with old maps.
I bought a new SD-card (because the original is not a SDHC-card).
Can I put the new SD-card with CNEUNT 2011.10 unlocked IMG on it and it would work? If yes, how? Aren't the old maps into Kenwood-unit?

Sorry, but I don't have any idea what to do.

Is the new unlocked map in a garmin directory?
look in your old sd with your pc ,how the old map is named and in which directory it is placed then copy exactly the same method to store the new one in the new sd-

Is your old map an NT map ?
