Thanks for the excelent share, Caty !
Are these Garmin Topo maps as good as the "normal" map for driving ?
For navigation when driving, is there a disadvantage if I use this topo map ?
-edit : can't rep++ now , MSSR...

topo maps are good for trekking, for sport not for driving i think, not sure you have guidance
@p1ppo:that is an iso, you must unpack and burn it on a dvd with nero

I downloaded all the files but when i run the setup it tells me that disk1.cab is missing. does anyone have this problem?
As this should be ISO image (packed in RAR files), which should be unpacked with WinRar (or WinZip, but not with 7zip) and burned to DVD or mounted with Daemon Tools (or some similar program), I see no way how could this file be missing.
What exactly did you do?

Hello,
I have the same problem like jrafols. I have all 29 files, but there is a error in a file. I canŽt extract the map.
Teste Archiv: garmin_topo_us.part01.rar.

But iŽll try the other link: you can also download these maps that are 24k --better maps and free
Edit:
Wait, i have it. There was a error with the file part28.rar. I downloaded it again, and now it works. Thank you very much for the map!
I have the DVD for these maps, so I believe my question applies to this thread as well - when one generates an IMG from MapSource it has too many files for most Garmin units. *HOWEVER* the Colorado 400T and similar "T" models in the USA have the same data in fewer chunks... Does anyone have that image around?
TIA!
R.
You can build it using mapsource, look at tiles number when you select them in MS.
Dont exceed 2gb and tiles limit your device can support.
Use a patched mapsource to send the img to C:/Garmin , then unlock it with FIU, rename it to gmapsupp.img and copy in a Garmin directory in an sd
You have to navigate to get to the good.
