    Default Unlocking GMAP file/folder

MAC OSX - UNLOCKING GMAP FOLDER/FILE

If you have a locked map in a GMAP folder (such as CN North America 2011.20), before using it on your MAC you should unlock it. The procedure requires a windows computer, it is descibed here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

On windows computer (or in parallels envirionment) download and extract files within the GMAP folder and run un.bat. After that procedure, the map will be unlocked, and transfer it to your MAC, click GMAP file and it will install in a regular manner.

Quick alternative that worked well for me: run Windows-version of jetmouse on the mac with Winebottler: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Hope this helps.

I had an older working version of Basecamp while running OS X 10.6.8. Over the last several days, I have installed/removed/installed the new version of Basecamp, but it just starts up and then the spinning wheel of impatience comes on goes on forever. Is anyone having the same problem with Basecamp? Homeport is working fine.[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Check installing requirements:
Intel based Mac running OS 10.6 or higher. Tiger, Leopard and PowerPC users should use BaseCamp 2.1.2
