great post, but it doesn't work for me... only my first map shows up (GMAPSUPP.IMG), all the consecutively renamed ones don't appear. . Im using an sd card on Garmin Nuvi 255w. what am i doing wrong?

just one map per sd
the map must be in a folder named Garmin
merge them if you want more than one in your sd
