Can anyone provide any insight as to why voice recognition seems to be broken in all updates after 2010.20? I have installed this on my Kenwood DNX9140 and I can use voice to access menus and POI's, but cannot enter an address by voice. This is the case with 2010.30 and 2010.40, also. Any help would be appreciated. I have also heard that people with the Nuvi 855 have the same issue.
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I have experienced the same problem. I have inquired about a solution on several forum boards and no one has ever offerd up a solution.
I have tried adding the ASR files without deleting the old ones, and delting the old ones and adding the new ones but nothing works.
I guess that there are not enough people with the 885t unbits out there who have the technical savvy to figure it out and spread the fix around to all of us.
Does the unlocked image include mexico canada and the usa 2011??

Is there any way to determine changes from, say 2010_40 to 2011_11? Garmin doesnt seem to show any specifics on their website - they even make finding the current version difficult. Typically there is some form of changelog in software, but is this perhaps "too many different changes to list"....or is it mostly POI updates...or?
Thx
Thanks for the map. I too would appreciate any infor about what exactly Garmin added in this latest map update.
The real OFFICIAL version was just released today APRIL 22/23. The mapset is from March that's posted here. The files posted must be the beta version. Besides, the file is not on torrents either. Sorry, I have to say the file is suspect. Who wants to take all this time to download and only later to find issues because it's a beta version? Please pull this thread until we canget some confirmation please? Source too?
