Excuse my ignorance but before I start to download, whats the differance between the Mapsource standalone installation unlocked (at 1.59GB) and the Complete mapsource installation (at 4.47GB) locked, I'm a bit restricted by my monthly capped download limit. I have mapsource installed and also the North America 2010.40 installed.

Thanks for this great post. All is working well on my Nuvi 265wt. I downloaded the full mapsource version, used patched Mapsource, and JMKeygen and it worked great. My only question is if the 3D shading is also and additional map or if since I updated using Mapsource it's automatically there? Thanks

You can substitute the old one with the new one: no mapsource installation needed

I made this way buy I get this message when I try to open Mapsource:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Garmin\MapSource.exe
Please help.

i'm new here. Please explain file usage of above file names .JVC, .gmaptz,.unlocked gmap3d.

i am puzzled with so many links to download maps, I am having Garmin 255W (Singapore model)

I am travelling to US-California and need map for north america, can someone help to advice me on how can i obtain the right map?

if you have a Nuvi download the .img file and copy it to your Nuvi. If your Nuvi supports junction view, then download the jvc file and copy it to your Nuvi.
