Above is the JCV picture of Thailand and Taiwan, For NUVi - thai unit can not display Taiwan jcv and Taiwan unit also can not dispaly thai jcv.
And now you see both of JCV picture can display in Garminasus unit.!!
ESRI set the JCV files to be unlocked by Nuvi Thai unit firmware .
But GarminAsus is the only one unit that can display the JCV picture all around the world , No problem.

Please note the JCV's work with the Thai version of the map not the English version
They also don't work on all units, they will however work on all Thia units that have jvc's capallities
You can't expect any thing done by the Thia's to be simple or straight forward

It's not the only unit, my friends Nuvi 765w from Malasia, shows European JCV, Thai JCV using Thai map and Malasia JVC's all no problem

You can install this mapset(.img file) to Mapsource. Originally Posted by Suda3

Hi guys..
I have Nuvi 765T bought from USA, and I would like to use Garmin Thailand Streetmap v10.1 EN with all capabilities (including Lane assist & JCV). Is that possible, or do I have to change Nuvi firmware? Kindly elaborate on how to do it.
