Jcv file is locked to some Model. If you don't have Sg firmware, it can't show JCV.

hello..im new to this..can anyone make a step to step guide (for a beginner) on how to install those map?i tried on my nokia 6210 but cant unlock the map..i already follow all the catymag step on how to install garmin application (simple guide to setting up garmin mobile xt < sry cant post link due to 0 post) but failed in the process to unlock the map..can anyone pls help me?

to unlock an unlocked IMG
rename the map gmapsupp.img and unlock with jetmouse keygen creating the unl file with notepad
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

on jetmouse keygen v1.5 put either the 10 digit gps unit id number (will be unlocked only in your gps)or the sd serial # (it will be unlocked in any gps you put the sd card
under-select map product --on the bottom ---custom map set---add the maps FID# also called mapid #

click generate a few times on the bottom-all those numbers will unlock the map--copy that 25 digit number into the gmapsupp.unl file --- don't add a enter --just 25 digits on the first line ----
on your card in garmin directory- copy your gmapsupp.unl file (unlock file) and the gmapsupp.img
When you save the .UNL file in Notepad, be sure you set the "Save as type" to "All Files", not "Text Documents".

wah..thanks alot..really helpful..now i know what my mistake already...so it need to be rename the map 1st..finally...my garmin can be use already..tq catymag...btw...can i know what is the meaning of JCV?what the difference between the map IMG, 3D Landmark IMG and JCV? for now i only copied the map and 3D landmark only..not yet for the JCV...do we need to rename the 3D lanmark IMG also?if so,rename to what?

For Garmin Mobile XT, only the IMG detailed map is usable. 3D Landmark map can only be used in Nuvi7x5 and Nuvifone only. JCV is Garmin Junction View feature supported in some Nuvi and Nuvifone, however Sg/My JCV feature is only limited to Sg/My localized capable units.

3D Landmark or Gmap3d.img can be displayed by GarminAsusM10(Taiwan que.exe version 5.80.90) , GarminAsusM10 from Thailand(Que.exe version 5.80.40) can not dispaly Gmap3d.img file.

For jcv , all of GarminAsus can display all of jcv around the world.

bro - I had bought a 255W from australia and saved a wee bit on the price, thanks to the sudden exchange rates drop... but now realise that it won't display Junction View.

how do I flash this,....
