Please please please can somebody help me?
I have garmin loaded up on my n95 it is using the internal gps but i cannot get the map to load.
I downloaded the map on the first page and renamed it GMAPPROM.IMG then copied to the folder on my n95 called garmin released the n95 from my laptop and fired up garmin but when I go to address it says something along the lines of need detailed maps?
Have I downloaded it ok as the file is only 160,460kb and is an image file?
Do I have to do anything else?
Please can somebody help me?

Hi mate thanks for the quick reply,
I renamed as you said but still no joy.
I did have a look at the guide but it seems to be more about getting the garmin on the phone ect. which is all ok for me now.
All i need to do is load a europe or uk map to the n95 but just cant figure out why it wont work.

PLEASE CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?
I have been trying for ages to get this to work.
My garmin on the phone seems to be fine and works using the internal gps.
It is recognising the garmin basemap but cant seem to find the uk and ireland map at the begining of this thread.
I think everything has been done right but it still says I need a detailed map when I go to the where to section.
I have screen shots of my garmin folder but cannot upload yet.
really hope someone can help
