3D building and Lane Assistant files should be placed in the Garmin folder, which is in the unit . But do not forget, that they work only with the Garmin Nuvi 7x5 series and the Garmin zūmo 660 GPS navigators

You have to navigate to get to the good.

Thank you Catymag for your prompt reply and knowledge.
I have nuvi 1490t which support lane assist. It comes with pre-installed CNNA. Do I need separate junction file for European maps on microSD to be placed in the GPS unit. How should I name it, because there's a file for North America already. Also there's no Garmin folder, the img file is in the system directory.
Can I overcome somehow the "Badajoz, Espana" problem. Is there way to replace this 5.8mb file with 5.6mb from CNEU 2010.20?
    Thanks again.

    Cool

Sorry if I'm pain, but the Badajoz, Espana was solved easily: I just removed this map from 2010.30 and add the map of Badajoz, Espana from 2010.20 . The only question remains, how to install the lane assist for Europe in N.American nuvi 1490t. Also the img file sent to the SD card by Mapsource is 1,853,792 mb while the img file you posted is 1,878,016
Does it mean I lost some information using Mapsource? How it could happen?

In my JCV directory I have 2 files: D1279020A.JCV & D1279020A.sum Should I just add here the appropriate files for Europe? Without rename etc.?
Again: what volume should be the img file CNEU 2010.30?
Also: I'm planning to buy Oregon 400t topo world preinstalled. How they managed to do it with 1Gb internal memory if just topo France is almost 3 Gb?

    Sum files are updates--
I presume ,but not sure--files size depends on maps details , topo maps can have less details than a navigator map or more--Depends on tiles number, depends on compression...

edit : rename it D1281040A.JCV but I have read it works with CNE2010_30.JCV too

I didnt posted it--I dont have that file--

    Hi everyone.

I have Garmin nüvi 205W. Bought from USA.

I want to use it with Turkey and Europe map.

    I downloaded Garmin Navcity Turkey 2009.06 - mapsource+IMG

İnstalled the software to my PC. When I try to transfer Turkey map to Garmin nüvi 205W, it comes with an error.

The system cannot find the path specified:
    C:\GARMİN\FAM_848\I0000350.TYP

    But the file exist.

What should i do? I am a total noob at this stuff.

    Thanks for your help.
