Garmin TransAlpine is the ultimate map for outdoor recreation in Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Slovenia. The first border crossing topographic map for the eastern Alps, Garmin TransAlpine is the ideal 1:50,000 vector map for your compatible device. It includes hiking and mountain biking trails, alpine points of interest (POIs) such as mountain peaks and crossings, and general tourist POIs such as hotels and restaurants. Coverage:

Includes the entire European long distance trail, the E5, between Konstanz and Verona.

Germany: Very high detail with mountain bike routes for South of Bavaria from Starnberger Lake – Alps region, and South of Baden - Württenberg to Konstanz.

Austria: Very high detail with mountain bike routes for Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg, West of Kärnten until Villach and Gurktaler Alps; selected section for Upper Austria with Attalake, Traunlake and Steiermark until Schladminger Tauern.

this map must be installed running GARMALP2_DEU.msi, dont run Setup.exe

i tried to instal with this but the map result blocked when i open mapsource.

(i have mapsource 6.15.6)

i never heard of a blocked error?
so i will assumn that the error you got was---problem with map---reinstall it-

don't re-install it -that never works--

go to windows control panel and remove the map----if you can;t remove it there- remove it" from the registry with mapsettoolkit----then reinstall in -by not running setup--

i just read dieger's comment----of cource blocked is really "locked"

under mapsource--utilities--manage map products--unlock regions--add--the 25 digit unlock code you crteated with keygen v1.5---using your 10 digit gps unit id number and the map id#--- then restart mapsource----

you must use garmin_kgen, then it works

I know there is a keygen to unlock the map on my gps unit but i had not idea there was a keygen to unlock the map in mapsource.
I will search for it now. Thank you for your cooperation

I have to ask so i am sure to understand all i need: in order to install a map on my mapsource in my pc do I need a code or an "unofficial" installer ?
after i tried i think i need an "unofficial" installer because i think i can not use the online activation that mapsource ask me everytime I open the program. the GARMALP2_DEU.msi could be the solution but doesn't work for me.

For my gps unit now i am ok, the .img works well, thank you for shareing it.

I tried other maps and these work good on my mapsource, the procedure was to copy a folder and run a .reg file. Is it possible to have also this map with this method ? :idea5::D

GARMALP2_DEU.msi should work-what error are you getting?
are you using the new version of mapsource--which it requires-

maps that run a .reg file procedure are made to bypass connecting to garmin--

that is a new style map---using unlocker on it will distroy it---unless first you run reverse converter on it===

recommend you just unlock it with keygen v1.5
