Garmin Recreational Map of Europe v3.00 IMG - version

This version is the most newest, from August 31 2009. (Not comercialized) tested on Garmin Oregon 550T
MapID: 469

whole europe including turkey and all of ireland, romania, poland,baltic,estonia-and more-.

version 3 3.5 gb

winrar gmapsupp.img----copy gmapsupp.img to the garmin directory of your sd card-its not locked-
no autorouting
add v1 world autoroute basemap and probably it makes it autoroute.

Thanks for this map. I have put it on 4 Gb SD card running Garmin XT 5.00.20. Although it show up under "Map Sets" in "Manage My Data", it does not show for navigation or browsing. Is it unlocked? Please help. Naga

but can you tell me will this map also work at other gps from garmin?
At my nuvi5000 i cant see the map.. what to do?

maps have a priorite scheme----autoroute on top ---

this map is underneath autoroute europe and can't be seen-

press wrench---settings---map---map inf0----remove the check from the europe map and now the map works fine---yes

or it could be converted to a transparent mapset and both maps would display at the same time--

May be v4 take place!
This file is v3 that was released in may 2009. But this is not original! Only mapset assembled in img by someone in august 2009 (unlocked, and had not original and not worked propeply addition files in img for mapsource???). Original was deleted from WWW on next day after upload in June

It depends on mapscaling too
Usually if scale is low topo maps are on top

Hum... the map is cool but it has one problem
The Oregon is too slow processing the Navigator plus TOPO plus additional maps plus this 3.5GB map on memory card

I have to split it somehow and place it on Mapsource :D
