Hi,
Is the map for SD card or I have to use mapsource to send to the Garmin GPS?
If the map is for mapsource, do I need to download both English and Chinese version to get it working?
I see there are many files inaddition to the .img file, what are those files for?

Can anyone currently in China confirm if the offset is corrected OK? I installed it on my N79 (garmin XT) fine, but cannot check offset until January

Hi, regarding offset problem... have you try setting datum with WGS 72 ??? As far I know different distance between WGS 84 and WGS 72 approx 200 - 500 m.

Can anyone tell me if this version has English POIs or just Pinyin i.e. Holiday INN verses GON wa De fang etc?

Offsets been removed ?

I have the china 6.5 and it has English POIs and offsets. My copy of 7.5 purchased from Garmin has Pinyin POI's and still has offset.

according to its file name, Venus-xxxx, it is offset corrected.
Local fans name uncorrected maps "Mars" maps, and in Chinese, Mars <- is opposite to-> Venus.
