Navigation software including vector data with routing capabilites. Complete coverage of Greece and major cities. It includes 15.000 settlements, 200.000 km of roads, 1.000 monasteries, 20.000 churches, 30.000 toponyms, and 5500 gas stations, intended mainly to car navigation. The background of the map is a shaded relief with lakes and major rivers.
Anavasi has been at the forefront of developments in Greek cartography since the publication of its first map in 1997.
It remains the only Greek cartographic company to use scientific methods for the collection of field data and map composition, using GPS and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the organization and processing of data in over 100 thematic levels and creating databases on a national scale.
Anavasi was the first company to establish the use of the Greek Geodetic Reference System (EGSA 87) for maps (Topo series), and with the use of GIS was able to project on the maps precise coordinates for WGS84, the worldwide reference system for GPS. With a series of informative pamphlets and seminars, Anavasi has contributed to spreading knowledge of reference systems and other matters of modern cartography as well as the popular use of GPS, which until then had been reserved for specialist scientists.
Anavasi introduced digital cartography to the Greek public, making all its maps available in digital form (Topomaps) and devising software for managing cartographic data (TopoView). This software has gradually evolved into an exceptional tool for field surveying and is currently being developing into a powerful navigation tool (TopoNavigator). The first maps for GPS devices in Greece, suitable for both touring and hiking (with height contours and footpaths), were created by Anavasi.

Despite the changes in technology, the spirit of Anavasi remains firmly rooted in the mountains and fellow hikers the world over will find on our maps not only a precise record of footpaths but also useful information on the waymarking and condition of the paths
