Instructions FOR UPDATE
1. DOWNLOAD the.img file (gmapsupp.img or gmapprom.img depending
on your Garmin model) on your computer
2. Connect your device to your computer
3. Copy and Replace the .img file from your computer to your device in the
GARMIN folder

POIs application:
1.Just download the application:
•"MainPOIs.gpi" for the new series of Garmin devices (205, 205W, 255, 255W, 715, 765, etc)
IMPORTANT For the previous series of Garmin devices (200, 200W, 250, 250W, 710, 760, etc)

•For English Language download the "Main_POIs_English.rar" unzip it, and store it in your device
•For Greek Language download the "Main_POIs_Greek.rar" unzip it, and store it in your device
2. Save the file on your computer.

3. Connect your Garmin device on your computer via the USB Cable.

4. From “My Computer” navigate to the folder “Garmin\POI\” of your Garmin GPS Device.

5. Copy the file :
•“MainPOIs.gpi” (for the new series of Garmin devices).
•“Main_POIs_English.gpi” or “Main_POIs_Greek.gpi” (for the previous series of Garmin devices) , after you have ucompressed the rar file first
into that folder.

Within the “Extras” Page select “Custom POIs” where you can find the more than 1500 POIs sorted into 8 Categories and more than 30 Subcategories:
•Car Services

•Parking Places
•Public Services

•Public Buildings
•Police Stations
•Municipalities
•Court Houses
•Embassies/Consulates
•Fire Stations
•Post Offices
•Ministries
•Public Institutes
•CYTA
•E.A.C.
•Education

•Elementary Schools
•High Schools
•Lyceums
•Technical Schools
•Private Education
•Universities
•Nursery Schools
•Libraries
•Tuition Centres
•Religion
•Churches
•Cemeteries
•Monasteries
•Mosques
•Transportation
•Airports
•Bus Stations
•Ports
•Culture
•Museums
•Health
•Hospital / Clinics
•Helath Centres
•Diagnostic Centres
•Private Doctors
•Pharmacies
•Services

is it just me or when i put the file in my garmin gps it says cant unlcok maps ??

Im trying to put the map to a garmin gps car unit . to be specific to a garmin nuvi 265wt

Without a memeroy card .. i add the file to the garmin directory and it says map locked..
