Hi, the new link in post 29 doesnt work. The address has been 'abbreviated'

Thanks a lot! I tried to use keygen 1.2 but that didn't work. You have to use 1.5 with the chcksum fix to get the map to work.

The Key gen supplied does work where do you think we got the data from to make 1.5 with the chcksum fix, Doh!

hello - very new to this site - just bought a garmin nuvi sat nav, and was wondering step by step, how do I either download this map to it, or how do i download to the sd card to put into the sat nav? i am complete novice, so explanation step by step would be appreciated... many thanks in advance

This map works on the 255W using the new v1.5 key generator. I won't have a chance to test this any time soon. Files are small enough to put on the unit's memory.

1. Download the files and unrar them into a directory.
2. Find out your unit's ID from the about page in your device.
3. Use the new keygen (keygen 1.5 with fix) to get map unlock code and put the code in a file call gmapsupp.unl by using text editor (Remember not to call the file gmapsupp.unl.txt)
4. Copy both gmapsupp.img and gmapsupp.unl into your SD card under a directory called "Garmin". OR you can copy these two files into the Garmin directory in the onboard memory of your device via a USB cable.
5. Start up your device.

Hello. I am desperately looking to download this Southeastern Asia NT v4.5 map but all links in this thread to download appear to be dead. I need this quickly as I'm leaving for my trip soon. Can someone kindly please re-upload again and post the link here. I would really appreciate it thanks!!
