I'm new to this site. I wonder how can I open .img file? What application is used to open it? Thanks.
Dear socko,
No need to rename the file JCV file to gmapsupp.JCV. Keep the current name as TSMV9.JCV. Just need to load this file into a sub-folder name JCV under the main Garmin folder. That is what I did on my SD Card.
Hope this helps.

You don't open an .img file.
You can extract the date to use in MapSource with wGmaptool or just load it into a Garmin folder on your sd card and put it in your Nuvi
Thks kel, i do like the way you suggest but i assume i cant use JCV as my device is 765 with TW firmware already. Unlucky me -_-
I tried typing Siam Square, Novotel Hotel, Pathumwan Princess, Dusit Bangkok... can't located all these places...
At most i see hotels in Hatyai, Pattaya..
What are the names or address do i type to locate something in Bangkok?
PS: I searched through 'coordinates' and able to find Chulalongkorn University.
- I am using garmin nuvi & i noticed i have to search through 'address' and not using 'food, loding' - 'spell name'.
thxs.

Thanks all for the advice. Managed to get it.
Actually there are 2 files of JCV for TSM9.0.
The official filenames for the 2 files are:
THSNTT.JCV for the Thai version of TSM9.0 and
THSNTE.JCV for the English version of TSM9.0
The file that is shared in this thread is actually THSNTT.JCV for the thai map,
which will not work with the English map.
Any one has the English JCV file? Please share it.
Thanks.
As there are only 5 jcv and the are all in Bangkok not really worth the trouble to upload.
