i just noticed a new drawback.... I have downloaded all the Garmin Mobile XT support files.. However i don't get the text-to-speech feature...it would just spell the directions aptly... never spells the street names... is there a way to correct this?

So this maps also work for all touch screen mobile with gps built-in using TX gps like nokia 5800 or n97? Pls help

I hate to ask, I feel like I should have been able to figure this out and I cannot any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have a Nuvi 350. I have installed mapsource, When I open it, it asks if I want to unlock the maps, but it refers me to online only. I enter my info there and just can't get anywhere from there. Also, I have deleted the gmapprom.img (1,068,8000kb) from my 350, and I am copying over the GMAPSUPP.IMG and I have placed the .unl file in the same garmin directory and that is in process now. I can't seem to unlock the 2010 maps in mapsource since it wants me to go online, and I don't think what I am doing now is going to work since the file names are different (deleting gmapprom.img and adding GMAPSUPP.IMG downloaded from here). If it doesn't work, perhaps I will rename the GMAPSUPP.IMG to gmapprom.img and maybe with the unl file created using the key generator, that will work? I have no probelms generating the key, but lost from there.

first ,IMG files dont need mapsource ,but if unlocked you must put directly in your device
if locked , unlock it with jetmouse keygen.
you should have the gmapbmap.img that is the World Base map and your new GMAPSUPP.IMG
it should work, remember no txt ext in your unl file or garmin will not see ur map

Thank you so much, I have the img that says unlocked, so I will delete the .unl file from the device and I have about 15 minutes left on moving the new img file to the 350. Crossing my fingers and thanks for the super fast response! I will post back soon

Hey Caty, sorry to ask with so many tutorials arround but...

Is there a way to upload ONLY Florida State into my GarminMobileXT (Nokia n95). I could do that with MapSource selecting only the places i want, but I don't know how to unlock the mapSource version, only the .img file with Jetmouse's Keygen. I'm going to Florida and i fear that 1.1gb img file could slow down the performance... or not? I'm used to BrazilMap witch is only 160mbs.

Any Ideas?
