AUTO DRIVE HELLAS, is fully compatible with all series of GARMIN's GPS devices and is based upon map data by GEODATA.

Reliable, fast and simple to use, this product is a pure navigation tool for the driver, an integral part of the activities of the hobbyist, as well as a fascinating gadget for the technology enthusiast.

With more than 300 installations in both private and public sector in Greece as well as abroad, GEODATA holds the knowledge and experience in the field of digital map data that is needed in order to offer reliable, accurate maps, with frequent updates and continuous development.



DESCRIPTION

Cities updates: In total, 4087 navigable cities / towns / villages (see the detailed list for the larger cities included in this version).
Road network updates: Improvements and additions in Kalamaria, Kastoria, Katerini, as well as many areas of West Attica. All recent changes in Egnatia Motorway ("Via Egnatia") have been included (up to 04/08/09 - section Ioannina-Metsovon)
Points of interest: Updates to reflect changes in non-static POIs that have been modified, lodging updates based on new data collection procedure and new additions (mainly galleries and tyre repair stations). Also many new additions in Ioannina, Xanthi and Nafplion.
New version of road network: All country's road network is being redone at scale 1:5000. Following the example of Lefkada (v1.30), areas of West Greece (v1.40), many areas in Epirus, Peloponnese, Macedonia and Trache (v1.50), and Ionian Islands (v1.60), the following peripheries-prefectures have been updated:

Periphery of East Macedonia and Thrace: Rodopi (100%), Evros (100%), Xanthi (75%), Drama (90%), Kavala (70%)

Periphery of Thessaly: Trikala (100%), Larissa (80%), Karditsa (70%), Magnisia (30%)
Periphery of Central Greece: Evrytania (100%), Fokida (95%), Fthiotis (30%), Voiotia (20%)
Periphery of Ionian Islands: Kerkyra ("Corfu") (100%), Kefallinia (100%), Lefkada (100%)
Periphery of North Aegean: Chios (85% - island of Chios)
Periphery of Attica: Piraeus (45% - area of "Argosaronikos")


Note: The majority of corrections based upon users' feedback received up to 04/01/2009 have been included. Pending corrections will be included in next release, scheduled for summer 2009.
