Post here please your help request regarding Garmin

Hey
I need some help with the poi on garmin mobile xt for symbian.

I have Europe map on my phone. My problem is, that I would like to have garmin to show me on the map when there is a gas-station and parking place and a bank. I know that it can be done, but is there anyone who can write the menu instructions to how I get it on the map. Hope you understand what I mean.
It shows a little icon on the map where there is a gasstation. How do I make garmin to do that?
Please help.

Please dont shout me down if this is a daft question. I have installed garmin xt on my N95(a great feet initself as i am quite new at this). I have instaled the world base map and also north america nt 2009 as we are going to orlando soon. All work fine but in the search- STATE= FLORIDA, CITY= there is no orlando. am i doing some thing daft or will the base map give me all the information i need i.e POI, Restraunts, hotels ,cinamas
and bars when we get there
