Hi....a bit of help would be nice; how to install multiple maps? Have inst. two maps but can only use the second installed - have read about it on first page but cant really figure it out.How do I make xxxxx.img from a map/mapset, mapsource wont let me save in that format.Guide me pls.

Just name map 1 "GMAPSUPP.IMG", map 2 "GMAPSUP1.IMG", map 3 "GMAPSUP2.IMG"

Call the .UNL files the same e.g "GMAPSUP2.UNL" and have the corresponding map unlock code in there.

Dump all in "E:\Garmin\" and it should work fine

The file generated from mapsource is a .img. For the rest, follow this:
Just name map 1 "GMAPSUPP.IMG", map 2 "GMAPSUP1.IMG", map 3 "GMAPSUP2.IMG"

Call the .UNL files the same e.g "GMAPSUP2.UNL" and have the corresponding map unlock code in there.

Dump all in "E:\Garmin\" and it should work fine

hey folks..
i got me a n95 8gb.
i downloaded the garmin xt 4.20 and used the keygen and made the unl file for it.
then i updated it also to the latest 5.0.
then i was lookin for a map of denmark. and i found garmin nordic 2008.
used the same trick with creating the unl file. and now copying img and unl to my phone garmin folder.

hopefully it will work.

p.s i get error with " cant unlock maps for garmin device with unit id xxxxxxx, do you want to unlock now?

This is a very great thread.
I have just put Garmin MobilXT on my Nokia E66 by the help of this good thread. I have placed Nordic maps on and after some tryes I got everything working.
