Hello catymag, whats the difference between this NT ver and the Aus 2008 one? Also any info about Aus topo maps?

Hello,
My Nuvi 310 currently displays the following when I select map info:
City Navigator Australia NT 2009
[1] MAREE, SA, QUILPIE, QLD, ROMA, Qld
and
City Navigator Australia NT 2008
[1] ALL
The files in my Garmin folder are:
gmapbmap.img
gmapprom.img
gmapprom.sum
gmapsupp.img
When I was in Australia last week I received a warning that the maps hadn't been updated for more than 12 months and they should be updated.
This looks like the same maps that I have though.
Also. I bought this unit second hand the map entries were already in there so I have no idea whether I need the two map selections or not. The first one appears to be a custom map or route for Queensland. Should anything be deleted from my Garmin folder to slim it down?
