Options -> Extras -> Maps -> Select map -> Options -> Buy license -> Allow connection -> Try for free.

Definitely, you need access point defined.

hmm..after i get to Buy license, it doesn't give me allow connection, instead it says no access point defined. and i can't even get to Try for free. how can i set up an access point? cause when i go to Settings>Extras>Access Point> it gives me none. and thats it

Look like Route66 shut down the server for now. So you can't download maps or get free trail right now.

there are new links in the trhead.. and there is a work around for the trail.. read the whole thread and enjoy

2. Copy two folders from archive to e:\system\apps\route66_v8
(replace existing files if any).
