    Works great! Great App!
As for the maps trial period, I changed my date to 2010, and then installed the app + map.
Don't know if it will work, but I managed to get trial version with the date changed. hopefully, I'll get 2 years + 15 days trial Regards,

Go into Extras>maps>info and see what the expiration date is on the map.

Don't know what I was doing wrong before but postcodes now work fine.

As well as being able to have a 15 day free trial of the maps you can also get a free trial of the speed cameras. After you first download them the free trial doesn't show as an option on the buy licence screen, but if you come out back to the map screen and then go back in the free trial option appears.

You can also allocate a voice sound file to each warning. These should be in MP3 format and saved to the phones normal music folder not to anywhere in the Route66-v8 folder.

The speed cameras give Gatso, Specs and Redlight all by individual speed but are missing any mobile cameras.

The only bug I've found so far is getting the prog to accept voice warnings for all the types when I try to set the last 4 it crashes out.

Want to try and see if I can find out the type of file it uses to see if I can install the warnings from pocketgps.

Overall I'm very impressed with the version 8 package and think it's the best out of Garmin, Sygic and R66. what do you think ?

i think the best is sygic, because that program as up to date maps, and route66 is not working well with the E90 (the buttons are wrong). but i need to navigate with it yet.
but those maps are the most importent for naviagtion software!

I must agree with you. I don't miss anything on Route 66 version 8.

Also a great improvement that you can add speed camera's now, and the graphics are also a little bit better.

They only thing that is not very well, is the voice volume. If you have some loud music on, and you drive on the high-way, the voice of R66 isn't loud enough.

Hopefully there will be a ***** within 15 days, because then is the trail version expired on my phone!
