We have those in New Zealand too! For now I treat them as bus lane cameras because they monitor that as well. Is it possible to repurpose one ofthe unused speedcam types?

A variety of codes is good, but it's better to use existing codes. For example, there is code 37 - multifunctional camera. This code is exactly suitable for cameras with other functions for monitoring traffic violations.

Sorry. It's an icon that has nothing to do with "Heads in a car counting" alert, and it just convinces me that we shouldn't force an icon that doesn't fit.

There are 32 IDs, you have to choose a category, with its ID, that you are not interested in and replace the icon, changing the voice alert and the item in the menu. But this is not simple and I cannot do it due to the difference in language and alphabet.
You must have the database of the category too.
