Hello everybody.
I have a magellan meridian platinum and trying to transfer waypoints from internal memory to pc in order to convert them to gpx (?)
Any idea for a programm in order to save them.
P.S I use digitus da-70156 in order to plug it to the pc. (serial adapter)

Magnetron OziExplorer cant find the handheld.Tried to locate the COM port but nothing happened..It cant recognize it. Probably i need to connect it to a serial port in another pc.
In the configuration you see Com and set the port to the serial-USB port.
You need to look at your comp Device manager and see what port your interface is on and pick that one in Ozi.
Then make sure you use the same USB port or it says can't find.

I use an ATEN USB to serial bridge adapter.
Try the driver for this type, they all seem to be the same.

Still cant do it Magnetron.
I should probably try another serial bridge adapter.
Maybe M8 But since we are so far away is hard to drop around to your place and solve the problem.
Now will ask are you using Win10 or what ever?
I know nothing about Linux.

I am using Win10.
I will buy an adapter like yours and try..
OK put the lic # in the shareware version THEN you will have full options>
I forgot the trial version won't have GPS and some other things.
