No problem I will prepare you, including the tutorial, but first of all you should try if you can get it to upgrade menu. If not, everything is pointless.
I would be grateful if you could give me that firmware and if I can't find an original one I will try this at my own risk.
If it remains as it is now or becomes unrecoverable, that's it. It remains for parts (battery, screen, case).

I made a short circuit between the circled point in the second image (PIN 9) and the ground, but it did not enter that menu. I don't know if the card with firmware doesn't have to be in the device.
Spoiler: large images

Here u go, instructions included. For upgrade screen you just have to have USB connected while making short circuit.

Thank you again! Is the pin marked by me in the second photo correct?
Yes, for M400 But also if you touch another pin it will be no harm, it may only go into reboot. Well, if you will be to clumsy you can fry the chip and than is game over for sure
Unfortunately I'm not sure that this can be also applied on Spirit models, I never tried and I don't have one to play with.
Good luck and report back!

I can't get into Upgrade Blue Screen at all. At one point the blue screen appeared, but without any menu. How could I enter Windows CE and replace the modified paths.xml with the original one?
I'm afraid that this question will remain unanswered. I don't see any other way as to reinstall the firmware, but how to do it on your Mio is another question. Maybe anyone else still have any idea how to get to the wince. Well, I still have one option but most likely it won't work also. Unzip and copy iBoot.exe on the root of the SD card and power on device.

Messing around with firmware is a very dangerous operation. One hiccup and your device becomes a paperweight. It is not recommended. You can try one thing [I don't know if they even make one] do a search for your device's Mio Transfer Hack and try copying and pasting all the files to the device. Good luck.
ALWAYS back up your device first before doing ANY editing!
