Content is licensed to each individual unit, therefore no backup from other device will help you. You can either officially update (buy) maps or install alternate navigation (iGO Primo recommended). If you use second option you can find various unlock files for mio devices here on this forum.

Thank you for your reply. this navigation has lifetime map update. I think it's not normal that a customer can destroy their device by simply deleting the entire contents of a folder.
I just want to restore the device to working condition.
AFAIK when you purchase Mio device, you also get activation code for the lifetime update. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any other procedure details.

I had a completely legal Mio gps TV device that for some reason lost all content after connecting to a computer
I also tried to legally recover the device, I was in correspondence with their support for almost 3 weeks
In the end, it ended with them asking me to pay 60 euros to restore my system (!!!)
Of course, I sent them the hell away, spent the next ten days trying to find what I needed and barely succeeded in it by combining various methods.
I got some content from others, recovered something over the full edition of mio desktop, I stole some from the Mio server (it was possible then). After that, I inserted a shell with IGO on the card and continued to use only it.
I sold it like that after a couple of months.
@Boki_Srb: I copied a Primo folder, with everything in it, into a Mio Spirit 480. Then I edited paths.xml. Instead of <basepath>\Program Files\Navman</basepath> I changed with <basepath>\Primo</basepath> and instead of <file>AppStartupSec.exe</file> I passed <file>Primo.exe< /files>. Now, when it starts, iGO Primo enters directly, but the computer no longer detects it when I connect it via USB, and nothing starts from the card either. What can I do to recover the device?
Do not never ever edit paths.xml file because it's a good way to brick the device as you will lost USB connection! Do you still have original device.xml file? Open it and check what "type" is your Mio, for example and I can help you:
<type>Cobia_500_64</type>

Connect the device to the PC and then restart it.
