Anyway, to be absolutely sure which port of your device is, you have to work a little harder.
Download the most common iGO8, it is enough to put only one map, your country.
Put the software on the card, run it and configure. In the software settings, there is an option for autodetection of ports and bauds (for both gps and tmc receivers). Execute it, remember the obtained values.
Then enter those values in the sys file of iGO 9 edition (that is Primo).
Of course, there is always the possibility that the device is not good, or its receiver, that the connector does not have good contact, that the antenna cable is bad, or even the antenna itself.

Hizpo WinCE 6.0 takes 15min to find GPS
I got a 2DIN Chinese HU (Hizpo) that takes about 10-15min before it identifies sufficient satellites to be useful.
The system settings have the Port on 2, and i tried changing to 1, but it didn't work. So 2 is definitely the correct port.
After 15min or so, it brings up sufficient sats and the iGO v9 will work. Before that, it will not find sats either.
