No.
.........
I have a GO500 and would like to use it on my motorbike.
The first problem I have is the it wont connect to my Scala Rider G4 Bluetooth headset, though it will connect to my iphone.
I am led to believe that this feature is not available on this model, only on the The Rider Series of devices.
Can I add this feature?
Thanks
Thanks Boki_Srb
Just for my education.
Can the GO500 be made to think it is a Rider 500 by loading the rider software?
Is the Bluetooth headset facility I require limited by firmware or hardware on the GO500?
I don't mind having a play with the software.
Thanks again

Generally it is software limitation. But.
There are different BT chips, with different capabilities. It is easily possible that the chip that is in it does not have the possibility of such communication (hardware limit).
OK I understand.
I have a workaround, I have a spare G4 headset.
So I will set this up for the GO500 to use, this will sent the voice command to the G4 on my helmet via channel 2, while I can still speak to my wife on her bike on channel 1.
I will see how this goes, I may have to invest in a Rider version in the future.
Just pay attention to this - the Go 500 is a very old device and very weak hardware. Any tampering with the software can easily destroy it.
Or, you have NEW Go 500? Anyway, they still use some very different protocols, so I guess their hardware is different.
P.S. With the new TT devices, it was very difficult to change anything about the firmware/software.
