Hi! What folders do I need to add in order to get live traffic on my Igo Primo (Win CE)? On the moment I have only Historical Traffic, which is useless. Thanks!

I searched but I didn't find anything regarding live traffic so I decided to add the new post. Now, how can I find out if I have TMC receiver?!?

Again - read. Live traffic > There are two variants - one over the internet (modern devices, mostly Android or factory units) and one over the TMC receiver (WinCE based, HU's...).
If not indicated, you probably don't have one.
What is exact model of your device?
I have a Chinese one from eBay, working very well but has no name. Is anyway I can find if it support TMC? Any option or sub-menu to look for?!?
PS: If my post is against the forum rules, please delete it or move it where it should be. Thanks for understanding!

99.9% of NoName china device do not have TMC
No, there are no options in the device menu. You can software test the device by running iGO8 - it hase options to detect GPS and TMC ports.
But, it is much easier - there must be a connector for the TMC antenna in the back of the unit.
So far I don't see any cheep Chinese HU with TMC, not even on those up to 150-200 €...

I found this sat nav that looks like mine and has the same characteristics:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I also find this antenna which can be fitted to my sat nav:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Also there are some chargers with a TMC antenna included.
If I add some of these will work?

There is no TMC receiver in that device. And it don't even have a socket to attach an external receiver to.
Something like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is device you want.
Edit:
not to cause you confusion - TMC antenna can be attached through different connectors. 3.5mm just look same like headphones connector. But it is output on your device. Or MIC input.
You need TMC hardware - external receiver/or built-in electronics. And in both cases antenna with or without cable, no matter.

Sometimes you can get lucky,
A while back I purchased a cheap Sat Nav replacement (XGODY 886).
Plugged in my old TMC receiver (Royaltek RTA 3000 usb) & it worked perfectly.
It had no mention of TMC support in its description. Whether mine was a lucky 'one-off', I don't know.
The problem is that these USB TMC receivers are pretty hard to come by now & getting the correct one for your device is a gamble.
If I remember correctly, I once had an old Mio P360 PDA that would only work with a GNS FM9 TMC receiver (USB).
As far as I know, none of the tomtom TMC receivers will work with anything other than a tomtom device.
Yes that is correct
It's not just that USB receivers are hard to come by, they are also expensive. More it is worth it to take a new device with built-in receiver.
One more thing - very cheap devices, like the one he bought, do not have electronics that will support USB data reception from external device.
Software itself (iGO, Sygic...) supports TMC reception, it only needs an adequate dll file to recognize the chip.
That is not problem for old receivers. But it can be very big with newer devices.
For example, with some new Mio navi's, a new chip is installed for which the driver is written for its software only. So, iGO does not recognize him in any way.
