    Guide Original iGO, obb files...

When installing the igo app from playstore, I get 2 obb files. I extract them with unzip. Now I see almost the same folder-structure as for primo or basarsoft. I now assume that it might be possible to copy the maps etc. into the obb files and run igo. Did anyone try, will it work?
I cannot find sys.txt in any place. How can I configure that all maps can be located on external SDcard??

    No.
You need licences also, and it also mean you need your device fully rooted. And, to use that licences and to make it read from ext SD you can not with original app - it mean you need cr*ck*d version of program.

P.S. Such question do not belong to this section/thread (not Primo and not tutorial). Will move it later.

You cannot copy anything in obb files... Whatever you change in obb, when you start iGO, it will download new obb's.
But, there is a way to move content on SD card.
    Look this video

Hey, ok. I do have a rooted device and I already tried many versions of IGO. There is only one version which works with my S8 and Tablett S3...
    Is a Basarsoft-version..
BUT - after a couple of days, the igo-folder completely disappears from the internal memory and I have to copy back 5 GB from external SD to internal

Will use OSM And now, which isnt perfect for road-navigation but better than a semi-functional iGO..

    Ahah.
The guilty for disappearing iGO folder is Samsung Smart Manager (99%, or some other system cleaner...).
Already discussed many times on this forum, and, trust me, on lot of others.
Try Pal, so far it works very perfect on devices from S2 to S8, tested and approved. But, try to tweak system cleaner anyway.

There is some software on your device deleting files that should not be deleted.
Maybe it's system software or installed later, one of many "magic" "one click" cleaners, "speed up" solutions or something similar.

It's up to you to find out what is in your device, and searching with Titanium Backup for installed app is not best way.
Every Android has Settings->Apps where all apps can be managed, and discussion about that does not belong here.

    You have all disabled?
And set Samsung security apps, depends of Android version and model and market.

    Hi,
thanks a lot. But before I continue misusing this thread, please send me a PM.
Playprotect always has been disabled and I did not install any cleaners...

Now I am using a different Version of iGO and get the annoying blackscreen.. But at least I found some threads
    about this and will try...
