I have same problem, but a little bit different, I used LouBouha mention method to install TT GO, and run iit, installed NA map, after I used it for one trip, now I want to download another map, I got the "can't connect to internet", why?

Correct message "Can't connect to TomTom, Try again later"

    @ Daniu

    @LouBouha
    This method does not work
    Regards

    Hello to all...
I'm not a big fan of TT but is really good... I found that, from another forum...

    installation instractions from @rusigor

    1 - install original (from g-play)
2 - launch app, go though settings, wait till list of maps appears. Don't switch off app at this point!
3 - launch file manager, navigate to /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/com.tomtom.gplay.navapp and copy it to different folder
4 - now exit GO, and uninstall it from app-manager
5 - install patched version from here. Don't launch it!
6 - back to file manager - find your saved com.tomtom.gplay.navapp and put it back to /storage/emulated/0/android/obb/
7 - now launch app, go to list of maps - and download which you want.
    that's really works...

    Try this Method

    Regards

I installed it without wifi, enabled this after install and downloaded the maps, no problem at all. Also after flashing my phone with new rom and put back the backup with titanium it worked perfect.

    # LouBouha

Did exactly what you discribed above, but cannot connect connect to TomTom.

Update: After another try, it works. I don't know why, maybe something went wrong wit copying that file. I'm glad and thanks to all of you.

I you set your phone to factory settings all the setting for TomTom are gone too. Just install again should solve the problem.

    Hello...
after resetting to factory settings all installed apps are lost, but some files remain in the SD card folders...
search for their folder SD -> Android/data for "com.tomtom.gplay.navapp" and delete them...

uninstall/delete everything from the old installation and start from scratch... apk #67 instruction #70

TNX DFox, installed and just fine on my Galaxy Note4 with MM 6.01
However, still TT Android GO trafico not offer downloading the map of Israel, while this map is proposed with TT devices and TT android 1.4 universal.

Is there a way to install the Israel map (eg TT Android 1.4 universal) manually on this TT Android GO?
    Regards
