    ? Convert xxx.GPI POI files to RNS510 ?

    Hi all!

    Is there a way to convert Garmin POI xxxx.GPI files to fit the VW RNS510 ?

    I want to always have updated speedcams in my RNS510..

    If you mean Garmin Cyclops they are encrypted so cannot be decompiled or converted. Other custom [3rd party] garmin *.gpi files maybe can to be converted depending on what format your VeeDub unit uses.

    Get the POI's from .csv ,.gpx,asc
    Download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ],if you want customized.

    It will show you how to create the db file, copy it to the sdcard and load it into the rns-510.
    It took a good 10+ minutes with the RNS510 in map view mode for the POI's to appear. After that, they seem to appear all the time.
    But .db files are not .gpi, as explained in pm, and I gave official website conversion : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ],but if you do not want so looking .gpi
