You need DVD+R Double Layer media, for example Verbatim

Use a DL DVD (dual layered DVD), burn at the slowest speed and verify the disc after burn.

    Hi all
Can anyone tell me if the book type setting needs to be set to dvd rom for optimum results like in my audis RNS-e unit?

Would a firmware update be needed and if so where could I download from?

    Dear Boxer!

I have downloaded the Volkswagen Navigation CY - RNS 510 & RNS 810 V12 West/East Europa files and burned it to a DL DVD TDK. But if I put it to my carGPS VW RNS510, it cames back from the rack with "DVD Fehler- DVD auswerfen" What could be wrong? On my PC I can see all files on the DISC....

Works well 4 me. You need to burn the DL with IMG burn and at LOW speed (1x). I did use a DL-R.
