B*gger! Oh well, the race is on to find V20 C2. It's certainly eluding me if it is out there in the ether ......

EDIT: You are certainly correct about all Tribica past and present models being the only late model Subi fitted with C1 unit. All other recent models take C2 ~MY08>MY13:

    Hey guys,

The thread was really helpful - and I thought I would add my experience in the hope it may assist someone.

    My folks have a 2007 Lexus RX350.

Got the ISO from the links - and had issues trying to burn it since I have a Mac. In short - don't try bother and go to a Windows PC if handy.

I used WinISO - deleted the 'Loading.kwi' file so it would fit onto a DVD+RW disk (max 4x). It was only one I had handy and thought it couldn't hurt trying despite the advice in the forums. Took about 15 mins, not sure about the write speed - but I was using an external DVD Drive - Imation I think.

Took me a whole to figure out how to eject the existing Maps - didn't know I had to slide the switch. It didn't work the first time - the DVD wasn't recognised. The second time it came up with an error because the switch was slide back to the locked position.

After that - it worked fine. Version is now showing 20/.9 so I call that a success. Beats the version 13 we had in there before.

Hope the info helps Thanks to all who posted before!

    Hey guys,

I kinda forgot about following this up and am still running v19 C1 on my 2009 Prado. If I have followed this thread correctly I need to download the iso for V20 C1 to a DL +R disk right? Where is the correct and reliable torrent located please?

    Thanks,
    Fourby4

    G'day fourby4,
DVD+R DL should work fine if your prado reads dual layer discs but don't forget to check and if needed reset the layer break so you can burn it:

I used ImgBurn 2.5.6.0 and it started by complaining that the layer break it got from the MDS file was not on a correct boundary.
I manually set it to 1261456 as it suggested and then there were no other problems. ...........
Terry has a Prius i think, but i'm pretty sure Schermann has a ~2009 Prado and he's using a burnt DVD+R DL in it. If DL doesn't work, as done by c4p in the post above yours, remove the LOADING.KWI so it fits on a single layer DVD+RW or DVD-R as per other reports. Dunno if SL +R will work, probably not.

OK Neil, will try a DVD +R DL first. I went to Schermann's link but not sure which of them I should pick, some say "applications", some say "software" and I don't know if there's any difference.
