Good Point, the car couldn't even eject the DVD without any assistance...

I finally got it working! :D

I only have Verbatim CD-R and Sony DVD-R, will need to talk to my local supplier to get better stuff..

Anyways, i think this is related?

    Original: ImgBurn 2016 06 19 22 57 56

    Magic ISO: ImgBurn 2016 06 19 22 58 28

    Power ISO: ImgBurn 2016 06 20 02 39 51

UDF 1.02 was preserved/kept by Power ISO.
Should i seed my copy of the ISO for Australian users? :S

Sure if you want, make a torrent pf the SL iso provided you're prepared to seed it until a few more have the full file. Post the torrent file or magnet link and i'll add a link behind the spoiler in initial post to your post, better still upload the ISO to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] compressed, they'll take files up to 50GB but better to split it into a few parts for easier downloads. Or use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in 200MB compressed parts. Both can go 30 days between downloads so for longer file life use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] which has 50 days between. Safer to use an anonymous free host site than a torrent imho, but it's your decision of course.

You mean is 'Imp ID' the disc manufacturer ID Col?

If so, no, it's the Implementation Identifier which is a note of which program was used [implemented] to make the master ISO. They are 3 different ISOs made with 3 different but similar softwares, PowerISO being the third which successfully burned for NGPriest.

Newbie here... I'm downloading the V20 for my 2011 lexus... Now do I use a DVD-R DL or a DVD+R DL?
Reading these 20 pages got a bit confusing :-/

G'day rjfsport, let's try to clear up the confusion for you and any anyone else:

If you want to fit the entire AU and NZ data without removing anything from the ISO, use [double layer] DVD+R DL only, i don't believe either DVD-R DL will work in these Denso headunits, at least i don't think anyone has reported DVD-R DL working yet.

It has been confirmed that both DVD-R [single layer write-once] and DVD+R RW [single layer Re-Writable] disc will also work if the size of the ISO is reduced. I'm unsure if DVD+R [single layer] will work but i don't think so.

So, 3 confirmed choices - Single layer: DVD-R or DVD+R RW; Double Layer: DVD+R DL.

Yet to be tested [afaik] - Double Layer: DVD-R DL.

If removing the NZ POIs you can use a single layer disc, DVD-R or DVD+R RW. Kiwi users can remove all or some of the AU POIs. That's safer than removing LOADING.KWI as earlier suggested.

    C1 POIs

Thanks so much for clearing this up Neil :-)

I'll go find a DVD+R DL and burn it, I've got v17 in the Lexus right now and it is so out of date.

Yep, it's 3 years ahead of your V17 but even this V20 probably only contains mapping data consistent with a 2013 UBD/Refidex street directory. No later version has been posted unfortunately, maybe some kind soul will share it. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
