help Formatted my TomTom and now it isnt working.

I have a TomTom that has been sitting in a box for the last 6 years. Id like to update it as far as it can go and have it in my car.

I formatted the device not knowing i needed certain files. Now when i download maps(which im still not entirely sure which to use) they don't work.

    TTCurrentConfig
    TTGO.BIF:
    Not Found...
    TTGO.BAK:
    Not Found...
    TTGO.ORI:
    Not Found...

Am i screwed or is there a way to get these files back?

Formatting the device will remove the operating system (navcore) so you'll need to reinstall that before you can continue.

    Follow these instructions from TomTom:

    You're welcome

Remember that maps are navcore specific so check what maps will suit your navcore version on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] compatibility chart before you download your map. Also make sure that there is meta data available for the map before you download it otherwise you could be wasting your time.
