    Hi all,
I'm a newbie on Tomtom VIA 1435 TM, and would like to copy South East Asia v.890_4268 into micro SD card.. After browsing for 4 days here and there I still don't have a clue how. FYI I just update it with MyTomtomSA.dmg (I'm using MAC). Please help... Thank you

    Hey.
The method is. You must sell the TomTom. and buy another navigator

Basically (& you'll need to read/search for details) is:-
Find a compatible map (which has a meta) for your 9.430 navcore
Download/instal the new map folder then run FastActivate....simples

I have had problems updating. Recently, I tried using map 890.4238 with no luck. Same with map 890.4236.
I get rid of my old map, copy the new map onto the gps, then run fast activate. Fast activate does not even see the map. I boot up the GPS and I get a message saying to the effect that the map cannot be used.
So, I get rid of the new map, copy back my old map and funny thing is that fastactivate recognizes my original map but not the new one. I looked at the chart and it should work. Any advice would be helpful.
O p[psed the configuration of my gps 2 posts up.
    Thanks!

FastActivate see ALL map. but not activate them if meta is not released....
you not say what map you try to use only version number not tell as nothing...
go here and check if meta is released for your map

if meta is released download latest fastactivate here
