Hello. Is it possible to put the Europe Truck 965 map and navcore truck on the device TomTom XL canada 310 with 2 gb memory, and more specifically 1.91 gb? Thanks in advance for any clues. And forgive my not perfect english. I use google translator.

Try this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    or possibly:-
FileFactory single download dlc's attached with 9.701 and 9.702 navcores (use Jdownloader) BUT I think we've just about finished trying to shrink these down to under 2Gb because the actual map is always increasing in detail each release but here are my best efforts. If anyone DOES manage to shrink these further please let us know how.

Thank you for the quick reply. In the course of writing the post I downloaded the previous version of the file: "2GB 9.702 & 960 Truck". After unpacking the archive, it turned out that the whole contains 2.01 GB of data. So do not fit in internal memory. So I download the latest version of the map 965 and let you know if it worked. Thank you very much for your commitment. With best regards.

That is the trouble now, just too much detail on the map which makes ir bigger in every release. Some are saying that the v945 version is the last truly small enough to fit but try them anyway & let us know how you get on (and what files you managed to delete to squeeze it into you memory) I'm thinking that a TT One or XL are really cheap now and (if they have an SD card slot) you can use the full set-up?

PS the last few versions (again FileFactory dlc's) are attached if you want to try them

Yes, I read about the fact that 945 map is the last version of the "compatible" with devices with less than 2 GB of internal memory. I wonder what is responsible for the file named "cline.dat" which size in map Europe TRUCK 965 is 1.26 GB. Deleting this file would solve the problem for many people.

I'm guessing that the cline.dat must be the road details incl width/height length restrictions etc as it's so large compared with anything else and much bigger that "normal" country maps too.

You could try replacing it with a single country version just to see what happens BUT you will lose the Truck details which sort of defeats the object.

As I say, maybe just get a cheap One XL (with an SD slot) etc?

In fact, this file may be responsible for the restriction on the map.
TomTom XL already turned to my friend, but I still have XL2 IQ ROUTES EDITION which belong to my brother. In this device, I tried to install the map 965. For myself I have Go 930T

    EDIT:

Unfortunately, I was unable to install the latest maps on the device. Size exceeds 2 GB even after deleting some files. So the only solution is to install the map section or change the device Thank you so much for help. Regards from Poland.
