Incredibly good Navcore pack, everything works great. Wonder if you can upload new Navcore v10.022 (TomTom GO Live 1000/1005).

This is just what I've been looking for, thanks guys.

BTW is there a chart that lists what navcor/map combo goes with which TomTom device?

Many thanks for this. Just managed to update my ancient TomTom One (v1) to Navcore 8.544.1838, which has allowed me to use the latest 860.xxx maps. Your auto update made it so easy!

Just a tip though - I couldn't get it to work at first, device kept on freezing during updates. What I had to do was update the Navcore using the official TomTom Home application, which updated it from an ancient 5.x version to a 6.x version; rebooting then caused the GPS to be flashed with new firmware, which I think must be a requirement before you can update to a 7+ version of Navcore. From there I was able to use your Navcore updater to update to 8.544.

All works fine, and my TomTom reports it has 10MB of the 32MB memory free - runs smoothly and all is well. Didn't want to risk trying a 9.x version on such an ancient device, but 8.544 is working well.

Thank you, the Navcore 8.544.1838 - 32MB works fine. Language was set on Finnish (?) though so had to find the language setting in the menu..

Thanks for this post, great help.

I'm getting a TT Go730 so I will be putting the truck maps on it. My question is when it comes it will have the origanal maps on it so do I flash the SE Navcore 8.396.1914 TRUCK 64MB device navcore first then install the truck maps? And do I need to wipe all the original maps off or will it just overwrite them?

    Thanks

First make full backup your original intallation
then delete old map ( or keep if needed ) from device and copy new one to device
then run automatic installation and replace all files
finaly run autoactivate from device root directory

Correct, language looks to be Finnish. To change to English (or other), tap screen - select the middle-bottom icon (looks like two gears / cogs inside a circle) - then on the next menu go across three screens and select the top-left icon (looks like three flags). Choose your language. Done.
